Ours de la Forêt Noire
It all starts with a story
La Forêt Noire was dying. The forest's warnings went unheard as rivers dried, trees withered, and life faded.
Ours, a lone grizzly, sensed the forest’s pain. In the darkest part of the woods, beneath an uprooted oak, he found a faintly glowing green stone. A whisper urged him to take it. The moment he touched it, roots ensnared him, pulling him into the earth as the stone's power consumed him.
When he emerged, he was transformed. His small antlers had grown into towering branches, his eyes glowed green, and the stone pulsed in a root-bound harness on his chest. As he moved, the land responded, rivers flowed, leaves unfurled, and energy crackled through the trees.
Ours roared, and the forest responded around him. His antlers merged with the canopy, binding him to the land itself. The once dying forest pulsed with new life. Ours was no longer just a beast, he was the forest’s guardian.
